I have changed careers more than once in my lifetime to keep pace with what industry was hiring at the time. I have gone from electronics to medical and back to electronics again. Of course each time I had to go back to school (college that is) to get educated again. That took tuition, textbooks and lots of time. At the same time I had to be bringing in an income to pay the bills. That is not an easy task if you are on your own. I was thankfully, married but that put more pressure on my husband to earn enough to cover the extra expenses of tuition.
Going back to school is not just a case of taking courses to find a better job, it is also finding what the job market demands will be once you complete your schooling. After school is done with you still have to find a job.
