Companies that rip us off

I am so sick of companies that rip off people and stay in business at the same time. There are so many companies that deserve to stay in business but because they are not ripping people off they are the ones that are going out of business.

Just yesterday I was in the supermarket buying food and noticed that the size of a can of tuna has gone from 6 oz. to 5 oz. The price even went up by 20 cents a can. The size of a bag of corn chips has shrunk but the price has remained the same. We are getting less food for the same price. Do those food companies think they will stay in business by misleading their customers? In today's economy many consumers are now very much shopping savvy when it comes to amounts and prices. I often shop with a calculator to see what the price is for something by the ounce or pound and compare it to another item for price.

Food companies are not the only ones that are pulling a fast one. Comcast is losing over 200,000 customers a month. They just announced a rate hike a few days ago!! Do they think that they will get more customers that way? I don't think so.

Cosmetics have been always high priced in my opinion, so if there was a price hike in lip gloss or foundation I would not notice it. I will say this about the cosmetic companies, they will see a huge fall in profits as people will start to consider cosmetics as an "extra" and not a necessity anymore.
