I got an email earlier today inviting me to join a survey company that I had never heard of before. Needless to say I checked out Vindale Research and found them to be a very unscrupulous company. Apparently they get you to sign up to take surveys and product testing and get paid from $5-$75 a time. Here is what is really happening (from the many message boards on scams): People sign up with them and then they get an offer of a survey. The offer states that they need to a a credit card on file before they can continue. Now that in itself is a BIG RED FLAG. Don't ever give out you credit card number to a survey company. Well the people that did give out their credit card number were having unauthorized charges being placed on them. Some of them are still getting the run around with trying to have those charges reversed.
