Given the current climate in the real estate market, this is one of the best times to buy a home. Provided you have a good credit rating or a large sum of cash you can really make out like a bandit in the real estate market today. I personally always like to keep tabs on my own neighborhood to see how the prices are doing, going up or down. I am lucky in the fact that I live in one of the main areas of the USA where the prices have not gone down much and have in fact increased a bit. One of the ways I keep tabs on the market is through those free real estate magazines you find at the doorway of many supermarkets a large stores. I always get a kick out of finding that a house that is near to me in one of those magazines. At the same time I find out what their asking price is. I must also admit that I like to fantasize about my dream home and I often find one close to it in them. I usually don’t have the money or the rest of the family is not ready to move – but I can dream.
